Product Details

Carbon Steel Strip is a combination of two elements, iron and carbon. Other elements are present in quantities too small to affect in properties. Due to enlarge the amount of carbon, toughness and strength increase but welding and conductivity of steel is decreased. High carbon steel will be any type of steel that contains between .55 to .99 % carbon and between .3 to .9 % manganese in its composition. If high carbon steel strip rolled in cold method and then annealed, it improves the surface finish and holds tighter tolerances. It can be used to produce bending or twisting parts. The final product has capability to hardened up to 550 Vickers. Cold rolled high carbon steel strips are used to produce following products: safety belt, horn, chains, lock set, disk and clutch plate, washer, thorn nut, spring bolt, etc.
